We are considered an out-of-network provider with most insurance companies. (Please refer to the Insurance tab for the insurances we are in-network with). To support you in using your out-of-network benefits, we can provide a superbill, an itemized receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

A superbill includes important information, such as:

• Your name and other related information

• Dates of your sessions

• Service codes

• Diagnosis codes (if applicable)

• Fees paid

Important things to know about superbills:

• You are responsible for submitting the superbill to your insurance company if you choose to seek reimbursement.

• A superbill is not a guarantee of full amount reimbursement. Coverage varies based on your specific insurance plan, deductible, and out-of-network benefits.

• Superbills are generally provided monthly, but we are happy to discuss a different schedule if needed.

We recommend contacting your insurance provider in advance to ask:

• Do I have out-of-network benefits for outpatient mental health services?

• Is there a deductible I need to meet first?

• What percentage of the fee will be reimbursed?

• Are there any requirements for pre-authorization?

If you qualify, your insurance company may reimburse you directly, not through our practice.
